Job specification Responsible for new business and market segment development. This is principally a “hunter” role with a view to opening up new market segments, finding, cold-calling and breaking into new potential customers, assessing, qualifying and bringing in new early stage business. As such it includes little or no on-going Account Management.
Essential pre-requisites for the role:
- A clean UK driving licence.
- An international passport.
- A minimum of 5 years successful sales experience with at least 2 years spent in new business development.
- A demonstrable understanding of the interactive voice and messaging market.
- The candidate must have a reasonable grasp of Microsoft Office for use in everyday sales and business activities. i.e. PowerPoint presentation preparation for customer meetings, Excel for forecasting purposes, email for every day communication, MS Word for proposal document responses.
- A high level of drive, determination and energy, along with a will to succeed in an un-explored market.
