Integrating Horizon

Your existing customer data can be brought into Horizon in all kinds of ways, quickly and easily.  You can import your existing lists from Microsoft Excel, you can link Horizon to your CRM system, or you can just enter customer details through our easy to use web screens.  And if you have software developers, they can develop new apps with our API.

Flexible integration options

Horizon can operate as a stand-alone system, with your customers signing-up by SMS or the web, and self-managing their preferences through the web-based subscription centre. But if you want a tighter integration with your existing systems, you have several options available to you.

Simple file-based import and export

You can import your data manually at the click of a button, or securely FTP it onto Horizon for a scheduled import. Horizon can even run some clever routines to clean-up your data first. Any existing customer records can be over-written, or ‘de-duped’ on a phone number, email address or other import field. If you like, new customer records can even be added to an existing group.

Synchronise with your CRM platform

Horizon is designed to unleash the power of your CRM, to personalise the interactions you have with your customers. To that end, we work with the leading CRM vendors to make it easy for you. You might synchronise Horizon with your CRM in the morning, run a multi-channel campaign to see whose planning to attend your annual event, and sync-back the responses later that day. Easy.

API Integration with your business systems

The Horizon API uses a flexible RESTful web services architecture. You can also add new contacts, interrogate contact details and create messages; in fact pretty much anything that can be done through the web user interface can also be done through the API.
